Dr John Vakirtzis
John graduated in 1985 and provides all forms of dentistry for the entire family. He has a special interest in orthodontics, implants and cosmetic dentistry and is eligible for the IAO Board. He is also a fellow of the ICCDE (International College of Continuing Dental Education).
John Vakirtzis has received the following awards:
- Leslie Raymond Carroll Prize for Proficiency in Prosthetic Dentistry
- Australian Society of Endodontology, Prize for Clinical Proficiency in Endodontics
- John Stephen Hill Memorial Prize for Proficiency in Clinical Operative Dentistry
- K.P. Mackinnon Prize for Proficiency in Clinical Prosthetic Dentistry
- Dr Henry Bruce Maxwell Prize for Proficiency in Operative Dentistry
Outside of work he enjoys bike riding, tennis, brunching with his daughter and reading the Bible.
Dr Fadi Dalati
Dr Fadi Dalati completed both of his first two degrees from the University of Sydney. He then went on to become an appointed member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
He has a special interest in dental implants*, which drove him to complete his master’s degree in dental implantology from the prestigious Goethe University in Germany.
After completing his dental implant master’s training Fadi has been involved in helping train other dentists in the field of implants.
His hobbies include photography and scuba diving.
Luisa has worked in the dental industry for over a decade. She started as a dental assistant and then became a practice manager. Graduating from the University of Newcastle (Bachelor of Oral Health), she later on became a dental hygienist because she enjoyed dealing with patients on a day-to-day basis and helping them understand their oral health. She is currently doing further studies to expand her scope of work so she can work on minimally invasive dentistry as well as work more closely with children.
In her spare time, Luisa enjoys exercising, Latin dance and family gatherings.
Dr James El-Khoury
James completed his Bachelor of Dentistry and Medical Science degrees at the University of Sydney. He enjoys treating the whole family including children and working with patients who are anxious about receiving dental treatment and watching then become more confident.
James special interest in orthodontics (braces), endodontics (root canal treatment) and cosmetic dentistry.
His training/involvements include:
- Orthodontic training through POS (Progressive Orthodontic Seminars)
- Facial Injectable training through the Australasian Academy of Dento-facial Aesthetics
- Aesthetics Periodontics “Gum Surgery” through POS – Dr Ziv Simons
- Member of the Australian Society of Endodontics
When he is not at work he enjoys photography, basketball and football as well as spending time with family and friends
